Two modes of operation

Voltage relay ZUBR D6 red is designed to protect domestic and industrial electrical equipment (including three-phase motors) and can operate in single-phase or three-phase load modes.

In single-phase mode the relay protects against critical surges in the mains and in case of an accident on one of the phases only the emergency phase will be disconnected. In this mode instead of three single-phase relays you can use the ZUBR D6 red!

In the three-phase load mode, the relay protects against critical voltage surges in the network, asymmetry, phase break (the function can be turned off), controls the order of phase alternation (the function can be turned off) and in the event of an accident in one of the phases, all phases will be turned off. In this mode, ZUBR D6 red can be used instead of a three-phase relay with a contactor!

During operation, the relay measures and displays the effective voltage value on each phase. All settings and alarm values are stored in non-volatile memory.

Profitable solution and 6 modules in the switchboard

Financially, ZUBR D6 red is more profitable than three single-phase voltage relays. In addition, it is compact and occupies 6 standard modules in the switchboard. It is installed in the switchboard on a standard 35 mm wide DIN-rail. If there is increased humidity in the room or there is a possibility of water entering the device, then the board must meet the IP55 protection class (according to GOST 14254).

Measurement accuracy and professional load turn-off model

ZUBR D6 red uses the network voltage measurement method - True RMS. It significantly reduces the effect of network interference on voltage measurement accuracy when the voltage model is different from the sinusoid.

IMPORTANT! If you check the relay values with your measuring device, make sure that the measurement principle of your device is also True RMS. Otherwise, the values of the relay and your measuring device may differ. If you still have more confidence in your measuring device, then the relay values can be corrected by adjusting the voltage values on the relay display ± 20 V.

You can use the professional off-time delay model. It allows you not to disconnect the equipment at safe size and duration of voltage deviations.

Safety and comfort in use

• ZUBR D6 red voltage relays are equipped with overheating protection. It is activated if the temperature inside the housing exceeds 70 ° C.
• You can view the temperature inside the housing at any time to monitor the status of the relay.
• You can lock the control buttons of the relay so that no one accidentally changes the parameters of its operation.
• You can turn off the relay displays in standby mode in order to comfortably use the relays in the living room. In the event of an accident on any of the phases, the display will blink.

Additional safety of protected equipment

ZUBR D6 red implements new functions, the use of which will additionally prevent the failure of the protected equipment by reducing the number of  repeated relay actuations:

• adjustable maximum number of protection actuations in a row;
• adjustable voltage hysteresis.

Alarm log

The log is able to store 99 last emergency actuations in non-volatile memory (for example, voltage when a relay is turned off or thermal protection is triggered). To assess the status and quality of your power grid, you can reset the log manually. So you can analyze the nature and frequency of accidents over a certain period of time. The log is also reset when the relay operation mode (single-phase and three-phase load) changes.
